Anoushka Shankar, a British American artist and a sitarist, is most well-known for her musical talents. She was first in her age group to be awarded the British House of Commons Staff. Born in London and grew up in New Delhi, she spent the first few years of her life moving between London and New Delhi. The first time she performed was at New Delhi at the tender age of 13.
